This floor speakers are Elegant speaker, exceptionally well assembled, and lean articulate sound.
This is an exceptionally fine speaker but it is also a demanding one. It’s not an exceptionally efficient speaker either so you probably need at least something with 100 W per channel to get decent “realistic” sound levels.
The integration between treble and midrange is now significantly better and smoother, and the floor speakers imaging has improved as well. I suspect that the XQ series might be a trace brighter sounding than the reference series, but I have not been able to confirm that directly.
