Logitech S120 2.0 Multimedia Speakers (Black)

Speakers as an audio device come in a large variety of models and designs. Every year, the speakers have changes in the two aspects of aesthetics and all are always attractive with improved materials and quality. Throughout the speakers’ journey up until the present day, speakers have gone through countless of improvement in design and material quality.

Coming in large built shapes in the early period of the journey, speakers have now evolved into something smaller while still offering the quality of equally good sound. However, no matter how much speakers have evolved in designs, shapes and sizes, there is something that mostly remains the same: the color, which is black. Black speakers have always been the customers’ favorite from time to time.

Floor standing, bookshelf, center channel, or sound bars and other types of speakers are generally always in black colors, no matter how large or small they are. It is still not very clear of who determine the black color when the first speakers were built and marketed.

In spite of it all, black speakers certainly give the sophisticated and modern sense to their owners. Besides, the black color also stays equally dark after a long while unlike the other colors which will fade over time. Further, even though it has not been cleaned for quite a while, the stain will not be visible.

As it is always widely accepted by many people, black is believed to be the basic and neutral color. It also serves as the representation of invisibility despite the huge built. When there is a big concert, where a large number of speakers must be available to entertain thousands to millions of spectators, speakers are positioned in many spots to provide the balance of sound spread in the entire concert venue.

With blocks of black speakers stacked around the venue, the spectators will not even realize or get distracted by the tall stacks of speakers. It is quite amusing to imagine that those huge stacks are comprised of speakers of different colors.

Black color is also considered to be able to disguise dirty spots and stains on the speaker’s body. In an event such as a concert or music performance, the dirty spots on the speakers will definitely give uncomfortable feeling which is distracting the show. Black speakers are not supposed to stand out in such performance otherwise they will surpass the performers’ performance. With black colors, the speakers are elegantly standing and not distracting.
